The Wensum Valley Miniature Railway has been built since 2020 and we are near concluding our track build at County School Station. We as a group have workshops on site that members can use, or the railway track can accommodate 3.5 inch or 5 inch gauge locos. We are modellers in many differing scales.
The track is open many Sundays in Spring to Autumn. We will be open for public running on each Sunday in the school summer holidays. £1 per person for a ride behind one of our engines, around the third of a mile track. Of course, this is weather permitting in our open air site.
This coincides with the MNR cafe / Tea Room which is open on Sundays and Saturdays along with the Museum on Sundays. We are a cash only site.
We would welcome visitors and interested members of the public to our track.
