A member of the parish council since 2014, Tom became a Trustee of the Eastgate Centre in January 2011 and then became Chairman in June 2011, a position he continues to hold.

Tom is also responsible for Street Lighting and the Prince William Wood, is the Tree Warden and assist with Planning.
