Martin has lived in North Elmham for over 50 years and has been a parish councillor since 2011. He is Chairman of the Church & Townland Charity and Elmham United Charities, also a management Trustee of the Annie Mary Smith Allotments Charity, Captain of the King's Head Bowls Club and Treasurer & Advertising Manager of Elmham News.
Martin's parish council duties cover being responsible for Elmham Charities Trustees and the Allotments, Environment & Maintenance; he also assists the Eastgate Centre Trustees and with Planning issues.
